Latest Minecraft Project

I must say, school is tough, but has given me a chance to work on an amazing minecraft project. I have a new world with the coming out of the halloween update, and have made it my own.

I dont have any pics of my castle for you, but here is my latest conquest, a giant underground cavern I carved out of solid stone. to those of you familiar with monecraft, you know there would be caves to help this project along. the only ones I found, however, were 1 vertical shaft all of 4x5 blocks, and a horizontal tunnel resting right at the top of my excavation area. Nothing really helpful.

It started as a general idea to make a cavern full of collumns, but not a really huge one. I made a bridge from my castle to a likely looking bluff, and started digging a stair way. when I figured out how far I would need to dig, i made it 4 blocks wide to accomidate a minecart system with stairs on the side. has a booster cart to push you up, and a ramp to let gravity take you down. the original room was made 2x3 collumns, with 4 spaces between the width, and 3 from the length (as viewed from the entry stairs). I know plan for it to be 10x10 collumns, based on a suggestion my sister made to make it look infinite when you first step out. looks amazing.

see that? Thats my base. Its a sprawling connected set of mountaintops in a range I dub the HOLLOWED MOUNTAINS!

These babies were totally randomly generated right next to my spawn point, and now I live on them.

I have a set of 2 Aqueducts that I use to transport between mountain tops, but i also made a dirt bridge that i *might* turn into wood. who knows?

Oh Man

Things have been very hectic recently. mom went in the hospital for a few days, but is out, turns out to be something she can handle. Dad had a tendon come detached, and went through surgery to reattach it. He has been home ever since. He goes to get the dressing off soon.
I got a job cooking. It pays well, and I really needed one. i have my eye on a beautiful gaming comp. It will cost me $2,000.00, but its just what I want. im designing and sewing a few new items to sell on etsy. Will post link soon! Sorry to cut this so short, but I must run! youth group tonite!

Snow Snow Snow.

And more snow. And wind! Cant forget the wind! All of that together is giving me a moderately bad day. I got stuck in the driveway trying to get to school today. Its so cold, and with this crazy wind, I couldn't feel my fingers after 1 minute of shoveling out. 1 minute. Yeah.

Been having fun on Garry's Mod recently. Got the advanced duplicator and made some rocking fireworks bundles. I also found that a couple of my online friends have it too, so I have been playing with them. Played with Lapizzia yesterday, and we made this awesome NPC fight arena. I got a T-Rex to fight all sorts of things, and its tons of fun. It was quite funny how Rexy hated Lapizzia so much. The button to open the door was to close to his pen, so when Lapizzia pressed the button to open the door, rexy would just chomp him. Very, very lulz.

I have also been attempting to get some of my new NPC packs to work, but no luck yet. I just need to find the right folder to put them in...

Dad got us a new Dance mat for Christmas. I asked for one, and he said he would look. He came back a few days later and said the only ones they had were bundled with a dance game. The only DDR game we dont have for the 360 is Universe 2. I told him that and he promised to look. Christmas Day: I get a box that looks suspiciously like a packaged Dance Mat. I open it, and it is! Only one problem: Its the High School Musical 3 Dance Game and mat. Haha dad, very funny.

Gah...

Well, crazy time has finally allowed me to post something for you all who were wondering if I was dead or not. Here I am! And with a minor update to boot!
Christmas Vacation is over today, but a last-minute sickness has kept me from joining the normal business of earning my diploma.
Christmas was great, got some useful things like a new controller for the Xbox 360 and a new Mp3 player. Its a touchscreen, and can take pictures and stuff.
Spent the New Years Day Festivities time at a cousins house, and had a rocking time!
Speedy got me Garry's Mod for Christmas, after I sent him a sweet handmade quilt and a copy of Orange Bow for the 360.
Attended a Christian 3-day conference this last week as well and had an amazing time! Probably one of the best few days I have spent this vacation!
Finals are coming, and it looks like I must study.

Oh...Wow....

I just found the coolest thing when I was transfering pictures to my flashdrive - GIF images of creatures and buildings being made! They look awsome! see for yourself! It looks like you have to download them, but the file shouldnt be that big, and you can delete it. just right click, save image as!

Spore Crazy!

Gah! what a crazy few weeks I have had! Busy busy busy....

Well, today I reveal a project I will be starting after I get this post done. I call it Spore Crazy, and it catalogs the journey and progress of my current empire. Expect a link to my website page for it Here.

Lets start with some basic info:

My Empire, the Banded Dragon Lords, have expanded wildly beyond my expectations. Captain Jairdo has done far more than I ever expected, and is moving quickly in the ranks. I havnt had time to give him some good missions lately though. We have been running around our corner of the enormous galaxy and subduing or buying off various other neighbors.

Now, Spore Crazy is going to be its own freeweb site. I will have a page for the number of planets I have conquered, along with a nifty spinning image of it, and a universe map with my colonies pointed out. I will seperate the planets that I inhabit into colonized, conquered, and purchased. I will try to write down the systems they orbit as well, but no real promises.

I will also be keeping track of my captain and his ship, and stats involved with that.

I want sleep....

Oh man. I am wiped. Cant hardly sleep most night for some reason. sleep meds wont help. melatonin woke me up at 2 last night, and I couldnt sleep again untill 5. I had to get up at 6:30. I got all of 3-4 hours last night. not cool.

I hope to have something to post for you guys tomorrow that I made, but for now, a funny video. If you like tf2, u will love it if you have never played, u will still laugh. I gurantee it.

Spore!

Oh yeah! I got Spore Galactic Adventures Add-on pack! It rocks! I even made my own adventure! Yeah! Its sorta a Scientology thing, but fun and easy. Pictures? Maybe :)

Instead, I have a widget. It now shows off all my latest stuff that I did. Enjoy :)

I finally got that achievement! all 333 grubs are squirshed. Molly read the locations off on an achievement guide, and now I need to go and save all the buildings from destruction. I hope i do better this time...

Heavy Medic

Yeah, who likes harry Potter? Who has read the books? Seen the movies? I have, but I'm not a huge fan. It's definitely a good series, and so, if you like or read the books, and enjoy Team Fortress 2, you will like this page. A word of warning: Some of the comments may contain language. They didnt when I looked, and they made me laugh, but they might since then. Also, the rest of the sight has pictures with some language and/or sexual content, so look with caution. Not all have it, but there is enough.

Teeth-Grinding Anger!

Grr! Well, I probably shouldnt get so mad, but this thing has been kicking my butt!!!

Consider: There are 99 achievements in the Xbox 360 version of the Orange Box. I have all but 5. 3 of them are skill related for portal and involve getting bronze, silver and gold medals for all of the challenges, like least time, least portals, and least steps, as well as the advanced maps which were madness to begin with! The other 2 are for Half life 2 episode 2. One I havnt really attempted yet, and it involves saving all the buildings from destruction as waves of enemies come at you. Sounds daunting. The other I have woorked on for weeks now. It involves squishing grubs. I kid you not. Get Some Grub is the most challenging achievement I have ever seen, and thats counting taking the gnome through the whole game! This achievement spans 2 levels. You must kill 333 grubs. They hide so well! If you miss even 1 you have to start all over again! I have attempted this achievement about 14-18 times, and play to try again as soon as I get this posted.

In lighter thoughts, I got a messager chatpad! All you on my contacts list now feel free to talk to me whenever I am on! I also got this sweet gamercard that keeps track of all sorts of stuff about me. It has my gamerscore, my latest games, and my reputation on xbox LIVE. With my chatpad, I am now seriously ready for Facebook and Twitter to get on LIVE!!! Yeah!

Well, its been awhile, but I have finally got around to posting something, and not only 1 something, but 2! The first is a Gmod Machinema series that was just released like, today. I havent even finished it, but its epic. I know it. the teasers were epic. This is epic. Its PURE WIN!

The second is Steve. Steve is a pillow. Steve is also a Headcrab. Steve is handmade with scraps around the house, so dont say anything about a wrong color scheme. It was made with an old robe and some old nurse scrubs. He is very cute and wouldnt hurt a fly (unlike some leaders of the free world...) Enjoy the video, but there might be some language in Ch. 1 I have just started it, so I dont know for sure. i want the music though, want it bad.

General

Well, here I am waiting for a Halo CE Map to download and board. Not much really going on around here, but dad and sis are beating the stuffing out of each other on Halo 3. The cat is in the other chair and looking at my foot like its a play toy. not a good position...

Birthday is coming up, and Molly already said she would make me whatever cake I wanted. I want one that isnt a lie.

Taste the Cake

Well, most if not all of us know the cake is a lie, which makes Chells quest through Portal all the more fruitless. A video describing this quest has been made, and I urge you all to see it.



Chapter 2 of Adventures 2 is coming out soon, and I am working on redoing the lables for the blog here. Other than all that, not much else to talk about.

Xbox LIVE is down for maintinence today, but I was still able to get many achievements on Half Life 2. no TF2 today though :(

Ahh! Xbox Live is shutting off to update for 24 hours the 16th! What will I do without my TF2? Please send me some ideas! Bordom is such a lonely thing...

Well, anyways, dad took us bike riding today on a new trail downtown. nice trail, rather hilly, but nice. There was a fire at what dad says is a tire re-treading building thing, and we had a look (of corse!) and smelled the smoke. It probably will be on the news tonite.

How is everyone doing with the digital switch? See, My city decided to stay with the old date of Feb. 17, so we had our Digital stations long ago. Not that we really get any w/out cable anyways...

Found a cute TF2 video I think you all would like. I reminds me of Wall-e, and is rather dialoge-less in the same way.
