Update on my life

Yeah, i know, not impressive or anything, but its what I got.

School and sickness has kept me away from the computer recently, along with the recent purchase of Lego Star Wars 2: The Original Trilogy. Thats a really fun game.

I have also been enjoying my music appreciation class, and am listening to Berlioz Symphonie Fantastique 2nd movement. A very enjoyable and beautiful piece. I recommend it to anyone who wants to have a look.

Looks like our clan is also preparing for a war over xfire, and I cant wait to get this thing going! I hope I can get some practices in before we start official listings for warriors....

Nothing much else to tell you all today, other than I wont be able to do much on my stories untill we get christmas break, so just be patient.

Falling...

Well, here I am, finally respawning after that horrific fall from the edge of the map. Its a long way down, but the merciful Guardians took my life before I hit the bottom. Dang them.

Anyways, I have recently gotten our xbox 360 back from the repair center. Well, they gave me a replacement, along with a free month of Xbox Live Gold, so I decided to take Halo 3 online tonite. That was the best decision yet. I wasnt all that sure I wanted to go try it, since I was without a headset, but that proved to be not much of a problem. The problem was, the beginners playlist on matchmaking is sooooo BOOOOOORING!!! The same map and the same gametype over and over again.... Its mindnumbing. So after about 5 games with that, I decided to try a little social gaming. That was fun! Details are in my profile on Bungie.net, and there is a link on my gamercard (just click it) to the right and on the bottom of this page. I have only played 10 games, but I know Im going back for more. Its even funnier when you play something like Team Slayer on a map with the entire other team on the same TV with the same profile. I had 1 or 2 games like that, sadly enough.

Well, Im sure you appreciate the update, and I would have something more interesting for you to look at and such, but I have to go make my lunch. School tomorrow, so pray I dont decide to make my class a part of a "magic trick"... Argh.

AHHHHHHHHHHHHHHH!
WHAT IS WRONG WITH SCHOOL! iTS SO FRUSTRATING! GAHHHHHH!!!!!!!!

*sigh* well, I just have to say that school has really gotten tougher. I get into 11th grade, and, Viola! Teachers think we learned something from last year! Argh. I do remember some of the things, but what doesnt help, is that most of those things are not usefull in most of my classes. *sigh* Well, gotta press on...
Im taking Anatomy, which became Sports Medicine. Now Im taking Fundamentals of Athletic Training. I mean, what in the world! Fundamentals of Athletic Training... wow. I guess we do learn something about anatomy eventually, but I just took my test on Chapter 3, and it all dealt with The "Sports medicine Team" or something. I got a 100%, but the rest of the class averaged only about a 10%-40%. As you can see, Im ridiculously good at that. Its a boring class though. And I dont like it.
I am doing bad in Algebra 2 though. lets not get into that...
I recently got Spore (recently as in day it came out!!! :)) and loooooove that game! I LOOOVE IT!!! ITS AWSOME!
I guess I should sav more, but I must go. I shall post some shots of it and my creature soon.

A Tracing Fail

Well, I literally just finished this about 5 minutes ago from this post date. I found out a sweet feature on my new tablet that allowed me to put a traditionally drawn pic under the work surface and draw it. This was a test of that particular feature, and was bad in the beginning. at the end, something got bumped, and so the wings got musseded.

In other news, I got a haircut the day before school started. All of my hair is pretty much gone now, nice and short. Maybe I will post a pic someday, after we get the digital camers fixed! Gah!

Ah well, enjoy my playing about.

An Engineers Guide to Cats.

This is a fun video I found on you tube, that talks about engineers and has lots about cats. This thing is soooo funny! I laugh all the time when I see it. Hope you all enjoy it.

I got my detassling check not long ago, and I used it to order a graphics tablet for the computer. With school starting wednesday for me, I have postponed the second chapter of Adventures 2 untill the tablet arrives. I write faster than I type.

Roblox LOLZ.....Again

Well, as i said yesterday, I went to an air show. It was really good, with pyrotecnics and such, and the thunderbirds, and just all around fun.

Well, like I also said yesterday, I have a few fun stuff for ya from some roblox screens I took. me and my friend Speedy were playing roblox on six flags, and we found this ride that spun u around so fast, ur comp almost freezes! luckily that didnt happen, but speedy kept getting thrown off, and would land half way across the map! Then, disaster struck. He landed behind a sign for one of the roller coasters, and was calling for help. I run over, and cant help but laugh. And take a picture.

Something of the same thing happened to another of my friends i ust met on that server. Only this time, he just got out, and ended upside down. LOLZ.

I also want to mention that this particular accident can only be fixed by reseting, or dieing and respawning at the beginning of the map. not a huge hinderance, except that u get lost rather easy.

The 3rd pic is me playin a game called Zombie rescue. it starts out usually with 3 people on the marine platform, and 2 on each of these 3 islands. the ones on the platform rescue those on the islands using helicopters. I was stuck on the worst island, Mountain Island. It has 5 zombies coming at u at a time, and the others have only 3 or 4. I dont know how this happened, but the zombie is standing on my head. O.O . Weird place for a zombie, no? anyways, he couldnt hurt me up there, and i had some great LOLZ before taking this pic.

I hope you all have as many LOLZ as I did when I took these!

Well, I was at an air show today and had tons of fun. Cant talk more, bed time. Grrrrrr.... mom is seriously in a bad mood or something, wont let me finish. gotta go... Ill finish tomorrow, or add a new post.

Mah Place

Well, today I give u a few sneak peeks into my wonderful creation. Its a brilliant set of pics showing mah water features. I have 3. Who can tell me what they all are?

Anyways, I am getting close to finishing the basic structure, but couldn't resist making some of the easier places. All I have left to build is the master bedroom, master bath, closet, library, and toy shed. and then I have to fill the place with hand made furniture. A lot left, but I haven't poured this much time into it to leave it unfinished. The only problem I can see is where to put the library. on the second floor? make a third one just for it? I really dont know. I want to keep it to 2 floors, but I looove libraries.... hmmmm...

This map will be available for your perusal when I finish it. :P

There I Go Again...

Why do I keep doing that? Argh. I wont be able to post Wednesday, I'll be out of town.

Anyways, I decided to post something rather funny. A friend, Josh, told me about a few of his Halo exploits, and so I decided to draw a picture of one of the best ones. He figured out in Halo: Combat Evolved, how to ride Hunters. The details and anatomy of the hunter is off, but I thought it was really fun to do anyways.

Long Time, No Post

Yea, I forgot yesterdays, but I was banned from computer for the day to do general house cleanup and such, so I couldnt.

Anyways, I have talked to my little sister, and she is starting to do some short stories and such, and I will probably be posting them here for her.

Today I give you... A short story! Yes one of mine. Its a really good one too called The Dragon Throne, that I submitted for a contest.

The Dragon Throne

This story begins many, many centuries ago. The reign of the four benevolent dragon kings from the sea had come to an end, but that was not the end of the dragon kings. The dragons shrunk into the background, hiding in the sea, but watching out for the accident prone humans. The humans, in turn, forgot that there were real dragons in the first place, and turned the dragon into no more than a good luck charm. The dragons liked it this way, and didn’t bother the humans much.

You have heard of Chinese Dragons and what they look like, and that is an accurate description of them. They can fly without wings, have powers over the water, and come in all colors of the rainbow. The Dragon Kings and their heirs are the only ones with black scales. They vary in color with skin and mane, but they have hard, black scales along their backs. These dragons are also the only ones who come in contact with Humans.

It is an ancient rule set down by the first dragon kings, that the heirs to the throne must go out and help the humans do something major. One example in particular is a dragon named Soi-kal.

Soi-kal is the great-great grandson of the Yellow Dragon King, and inherited the throne. This tale will be of what Soi-kal did to earn the title of Dragon King.

Soi-kal was always the shy one, and had never really wanted to go out and help the humans. But since he was an heir to the throne of the Yellow Dragon, he had to go. It was day three of his journey over China, and Soi-kal was almost ready to despair. The other heirs had started their journeys also, and one, Shilo, had decided to build a great wall with the humans to help them. The wall was just started, so he would be quite a while at it. -Poor choice on his part- Soi-kal thought, as he always did when his thoughts turned to the others. The other two, Tang-shi and Fe-shen, had still not found anything to help with, and were in different areas of China.

It was day three of his journeys over the land, and getting towards nightfall. Soi-kal found himself a ways away from any of the four rivers, and started looking for a lake or tributary to sleep in for the night. It was just before the sun set for the night that Soi-kal found a small lake, more like a pond, close to what looked like a humans training camp. He did a gentle spiral into the heavy bamboo forest and crept up on the lake. Checking the coast was clear, he slowly slipped his sizable mass into the small lake/pond.

Settling down for sleep, he slipped his head under the water so only his nose, eyes and ears showed above the surface. The night was cool, and he could hear the sounds of the trainees as they settled in front of a large campfire to relax. He didn’t think anyone would disturb him that night, so you can imagine his surprise when a young trainee appeared at the top of the bank. The trainee was dressed in a simple brown tunic and a short sleeved shirt and pants. It was against the law for a woman to enlist in the army, so Soi-kal automatically figured it was a male. The trainee eased his way to the edge of the water and waded in, and Soi-kal tried to slip his tail further away, but the trainee brushed it with his foot and stood stock-still.

Soi-kal lifted his head from the water and reluctantly addressed the petrified trainee. “Good evening. I hope my tail did not hurt you when you brushed against it, it’s just that this lake is rather small.” The trainee recovered his composure amazingly fast, and bowed low at the waist to the dragon, both still in the water.

“No harm has been done. If I would ask, what is your name?” The trainee answered after his bow.

“My name is Soi-kal, son of Ger-ton, the greatest of the four current Dragon Lords. I am out in the world to help the human race and gain for myself the throne of my father.”

The trainee climbed out onto the bank and sat, the heat starting to dry off his pants. “My name is Shi-cho, son of Fa-she. I have finished my training with the army, and we are to receive orders to attack the Japanese soon.”

“Sounds like you are ready to fight.” Soi-kal commented. “But do you want to?”

The trainee looked away, shame faced, and sat silent for a few moments. Soi-kal said not a word, but studied the young human. –This male seems to show many female characteristics. I wonder…: He would have finished this thought, but the trainee finally spoke. “I have trained hard to bring honor to my father. I would rather die than admit failure.” The trainee held the dragons gaze with a challenging look, and Soi-kal respectfully bowed his head.

“I did not realize that this question would anger you so. Please forgive me.” He requested, glancing at Shi-cho. Shi-cho waved it off like it didn’t matter and changed the subject.

“Have you found what you are going to do to gain the throne?” The trainee asked.

“Before I tell you, there are things I must know.” When Shi-cho nodded his head, Soi-kal asked, “Are you a female in the army?”

Shi-cho was caught off guard by this question and stammered a few minutes before answering, “H-how did you find out!?!”

Soi-kal chuckled a little at the look of utter surprise on Shi-chos’ face before answering. “Dragons are very observant. Heirs and Kings especially. Are you or are you not a young lady?”

Shi-cho took about an hour explaining what had led to her enlistment in the army, and Soi-kal listened patiently. After she had finished, Soi-kal had decided what to do to gain the throne.

“I must meet with your commanding officer tonight. Where is his tent?” Soi-kal asked, pulling himself out of the cool water and onto the bank. His entire body dripped with water and he shook himself like a dog, ridding most of it from his mane and tail. Shi-cho wiped the water from her face and motioned Soi-kal to follow her, taking a path through the bamboo forest. The walk too five minutes, and Soi-kal watched the camp for signs of alarm. The commander’s tent was set apart from the others, giving it room for many more people and eliminating the possibility for spies listening in. Soi-kal could see a man inside, presumably the commander, pacing back and forth nervously. Shi-cho and Soi-kal snuck quietly up to the tent, and Shi-cho poked her head in, reverting back to her masculine disguise.

“Sir, may I have a word with you?” She asked.

“Certainly. Come in.” The commander answered.

Shi-cho slipped all the way in and spoke to the commander; “I have someone you would like to meet. He came to me tonight as I was swimming, and says he needs to see you at once.”

“Bring him in then.”

Shi-cho opened the tent flap and motioned Soi-kal in. Soi-kal pushed his head through the tent door and confronted a shocked looking commander. “Greetings. My name is Soi-kal, and I am on a mission. Shi-cho here responded the same way you did when she first saw me, but quickly got over the fact that I was a living, breathing Chinese Dragon. Please have a seat.”

The commander was so shocked, he obeyed the dragon without a word.

“Now, as I said before, I am on a mission. I must help the human race to gain a throne as Dragon King, and have decided to help win the war against the Japanese empire.”

The commander, still dumbfounded, could not say a word.

“I have decided to take Shi-cho as my personal trainee and teach him to fight in the air. Will you help me?”

Soi-kal watched the commander patiently as he opened and closed his mouth, shook his head, and finally recovered from his shock. “I-I cannot say no to a dragon, especially one from the royal line that has helped us so much. How can I be of service?”

The rest of the night, Soi-kal outlined the training program that they would need, and finally, about one hour before dawn, the three retired. They woke up at about noon, and the commander introduced Soi-kal to the rest of the army. The reaction, as expected, was about the same, and training soon followed.

Without going into details, Soi-kal and Shi-cho trained for about three months. At the end of that period, they were ready, and thrown into the thickest fray. Shi-cho and Soi-kal had grown to love each other through the dangers and trials they faced, and one night, just before they headed to Japan, they vowed they would die with one another.

It was three days into the battle. The force Shi-cho had trained with was destroyed. Soi-kal was leaving the battle, flying, when a skillful shot caught him in the chest. Without another word, the brave dragon was killed instantly. Shi-cho realized what had happened, pulled the small dagger from her side, and with a cry of grief, ended her own life. The bodies hit the ocean, and grief-ridden dragon heirs and current kings carried the bodies to their sacred burial place in the sea, never to be disturbed again.

Well, today was a reeeeally muddy corn feild. So, I came home, showered, and finished Chapter 1 of The Song Dragons. I hope you all enjoy it!

*Yawn* I hope you all are having a good summer and such. Todays post is a little late, but its a good one. Its another one of my awsome poems called, Gpds Wrath, and it won fifth place in a contest!

When God created the world

He declared it good.

But Adam and Eves sin destroyed there paradise

And they have to grow their own food.

God sent a flood years after that.

Only Noah’s family was saved.

He built an ark of Gopher wood

And took all the animals from there grave.

Many years later God sent his son

Jesus of Nazareth by name.

Men beat him and hung him on a cross

And won his clothes by a game.

Though Jesus died on a cross that day,

A tomb of rock couldn’t hold him.

For on the third day the tomb was opened

And Jesus rose victorious over sin.

He walked the streets for 40 days.

Appearing to many who thought him dead.

The news of his resurrection was greeted

By quite a few with dread.

Jesus is coming again some day

To take us to Heaven with him.

The world shall the see the truth of the gospel

But still choose their world of sin.

Tired...

If this blog podt makes little to no sense, forgive me. I started detassling today and am having a hard time putting sentances together right now, and am going to take a nap after I finish it.

Todays is a few more of my older pictures, so i hope you enjoy them. I have a huuuuge file of them I am still trying to scan, and so it shouldnt end any time soon.
Lets start with the random mass of things. its called random mass Confusion, and is made for no purpose whatsoever. The Dragon Daggar is the second one, the Far Gazer is really cool (I think) and the last daggar id called black dragon of the bloodstone. ya.

Story Time With Your Lovable Blog Author Extrordinaire!!!

Today I give you a quick posting, but some fantastic reading material. Its "The Problem Within," featuring Tharen and Gargen from the picture I have in the last post, and this one.

This was my first long project, and took me forever to write. I really enjoyed doing it though, but know I see other ways it could have been edited better to make a little more sense or something. I start Detassling tomorrow, but I will try to not slow the posts at all. Its only in the morning, but we shall see how I feel before I try posting.

We had a really strong storm come through last night, and it killed the power in our house all night. It also stripped a few branches from our Crabapple tree, and knocked down a good portion of our fence. It also pulled the roof off of a birdhouse and that is currently stuck in some tree branches. An exciting night for us all.

I am currently working on a really cool paper model. its a weapon called the Casull from a manga I loved called Hellsing about vampires and those that fight them. There is also a twin, called the Jackal, which my little sis is working on. Thats about all I have for news today, and I hope you enjoy the story! I dont have all that many more for you, and I might start repeating myself with pics one day after another or something, but I hope you still enjoy it.

Whew!

Well, yesterday's post was nonexistent, because I went to the Rebelution Conference in Des Moines. We drove down yesterday, and got home @ 10;15 PM last night, so I couldn't do a post.

Today I am going to give you some of my older stuff from before I had a scanner. It all looks really cheesy to me now, but still look cool.

I had to pause for a bit when typing the above paragraph, because it started hailing outside! nice pea-bean sized chunks of ice falling from the sky. we wont be mowing the lawn today...

Paper Insanity!!!!!

Well, today I decided to add another paper model for you all. I know its not very creative, but I am scanning some older pictures, and will slowly display them as well.

Today's paper model is from a sweetawsome TV series called Firefly.

This particular model is of the ship, Serenity. Its a sweet model, but with no instructions. There is a picture attatched to the document, and I reccommend using it to figure the thing out.

Prose of a Different Kind...

Today I went with something quick, cause I have a movie to go to and a house to clean. its a neat poem I did for class.

The Death of a Pen

Its a poem about a pen that ran out of ink. I actually was running out of ink as I wrote it, and it triggered a frantic search for a replacement. It took me all day, but I finally found one.

My pen has run out of ink.

And into depression it sinks.

We cant cheer him up no matter what we try,

For the ink of the pen has run dry.

No matter how hard we try to grow,

A replacement for him, he let us know,

That we shall never find another so fine,

That can draw a beautiful, solid straight line.

We have searched every store to see what was there,

The pen even came, for he could hardly bear,

The thought of an inferior pen, flowing so grand,

Painting masterpieces, and writing poems about sand.

Yes, the pen has run out of ink,

And he isn’t as useful as he might think,

But we found a replacement, a brother of his,

And this new pen would love to write a quiz.

My good old pen shall be buried today,

And his brother has told me just what to say,

“Tell them of the wondrous things he did,

And make him a plaque with good wishes bid.”

Paper Fun!

Yes, I know, paper fun is getting old, but this is a totally different kind of fun :).

There once was a potato named Matthew. This potato lived an ordinary life with an ordinary wife named Molly, his two ordinary kids named Matthias and Mary, worked an ordinary office job working for an auto insurance company. One day, I think it was May, something extraordinary happened.

Matthew was delivering a report for his boss, Mr. Potata head. There were four floors in the office, the fourth floor being on top. Matthew was climbing the stairs right over the third floor, when the roof and fourth floor was ripped off right above his head.

Matthew screamed, ducked and glanced wildly around for the source of this strange phenomenon. He was almost ready to panic, when something inside him snapped. He collapsed on the floor writhing and screaming, clawing at his arms and legs. For some reason unbeknownst to him his body was changing. His already misshapen, fuzzy head grew larger, his spindly arms and legs became absurdly muscled for a potato, and he turned a deep shade of blue.

As soon as this transformation ceased, a new mind had taken over and roared a challenge to the attacking force. The roof now gone, Matthew had an excellent view of his foe.

Dripping fangs, huge, blood-red eyes, snow-white fur and two gigantic ears was all Matthew could see as the creature reeled back in surprise and disappeared. A little bewildered, Matthew stared blankly at the spot his foe was moments before, then shrugged and climbed over the tops of the broken and buckled walls to help with cleanup in the city below.

Many inhabitants saw how helpful this unrecognizable blue creature was, and after the rubble was cleared, the new mayor of Rootsville honored this new, unexpected citizen with a medal and the title of highest honor, Grathengoken.

Now, whenever Rootsville is in danger, Matthew becomes Grathengoken, and always saves the day.

Uh, Yea.
