An Unusual Offering...

Well, lets start with the unusual thing. I only have 2 different sets, but they are for the Halo fans. Today, I offer a series of cursors (pointers) from Halo: Combat Evolved. It consists of every hand-held weapon (no vehicles) and the 2 types of grenades. I also have a Halo 2 set, but thats for a different time :). The Halo 3 set is still in production.

Today I go to sign up for detassling again this year. I detassled last year, and enjoyed it very much. I have a friend who plans to go with me this year, and I cant wait for the season to start!

I have a Fanfiction.net profile, and if you dont know about fanfiction, its authors or random people who make stories about charactures from existing book series and TV shows and such. I will be putting out my secong Adventure of James and Sneis, and it;s titled, "The Early Adventures of James and Sneis on the Forgotten Planet of New Discoveries." A Mouthful, indeed.

Relation

Todays offering as a really sweet picture I drew awhile ago. Its a picture of Sneis from the Song Dragons and the Early Adventures, In his full ceremonial coloration.

A little about it:

The primary feathers with all those colors signify his rank. It starts from the inner primary to the otermost one, and then the last secondary is also colored. I plan to release more information about the Flians and their ranking system soon. The medallion and the loincloth are also colored by rank.
The spear is purely for decoration.

I have this available on my deviantart profile for sale as a print and a few other things. Check it out!

Newness!

Yes! Finally!
I got sick of trying to type out The Song Dragons in one big book or whatever, and have created a new blog solely for the chapters. I will post one chapter at a time, and already have the Preface up. I will also announce here when I post a new chapter, and it will more than likely be in the same post as one of my offerings of the day. Well, enjoy! And go read!

Stuff

Yes! I hope you all line the new montage bar at the top of the page! I cna say all of those are either screenshots I took or pics I drew or took, except for the portal one with the cake. That I found online. Anyways, time for todays offering.

I will give you all one of my reports. Its one of very few reports Im actually willing to distribute, but It's a good one. It has a video I made as well, and I might do a few others like it.
Report:
Scientology20Research20Par.pdf
Video:

Its a report I did for a class assignment in our last 2 weeks of school. Its about Scientology, and is pretty much an overview. I was really interested in what they believed in, and all this stuff about Xenu, so I took a look. I hope you all agree with the conclusion I have come up with regarding them.

I have just decided to do an epic project. I literally JUST decided this. I am organizing my room, (a GIGANTIC task) and I have to organize my bookshelves. Maybe I will write down every book I have up there. That might be waaaaaay to many for many of you, but I LOVE reading, and want to share what I think are the best ones. I dont know. I might not. We shall see.

A Few Pics

Hello!

I hope you all enjoyed the beginnings of my poetry.

I decided to post 2 pics today. One is a concept from my Magical Pink Bunnies, and the other is one of my earliest drawings of a Chinese Dragon. The land of the Magical Pink Bunnies is called This Land, and needs a better name. Can you suggest one?
ZOMG!! The pics took up the whole post!

Well, I can tell you a bit about them so it doesnt seem like the pictures rule this thing.

The Balancing Lung was just a bit of a trial on Scales and such, but I liked it so much I slowly colored it in with my watercolors. It took me a month to finish, since I had done it at school, and I could only watercolor at home. I still love him, but I dont really know why.

This Land was something fun I did in preparation for a possible story. I connected it to my little sisters fictional land, and we hope to do a joint story about their interactions and battles as illustrated in the poem below. The cake I mentioned actually had purple peep bunnies on it, but it was originally going to be pink.

Well, I have some work to do, but I will try to post 2 a day. We shall see how that works out!

A different Time for Poetry

Well, I have some time, and so I will post another poem for you all.

The Candle and the Clock

This is a poem I did for a class project, but sadly it didn't make the final book thing. Oh well. I thought of it more as a gloomy piece, so I'm not really surprised.

Tick, tock, tick, tock,

The endless ticking of a clock,

Echoing through corridors bare,

Where flickering candles formerly made portraits stare.

Tick, tock, tick, tock,

The ticking of a grandfather clock.

Darkened manor, left to rot,

There’s one candle left, light hard to spot.

Tick, tock, tick, tock,

The sound of an ancient grandfather clock.

The numbers on the ancient dial are endless,

A single hand is winding, friendless.

Tick, tock, tick, tock,

The ancient sound of an ancient clock.

A candle burns in a room so bare,

Not a secret will it share.

Tick, tock, tick, tock,

The timeless telling of the clock.

And here I sit, watching, thinking,

And into depression now, I’m sinking.

Tick, tock, tick, tock,

The winding sound of the timeless clock.

I cannot think of why they are here,

I can only watch and wait in fear.

Tick, tock, tick, tock,

The ticking clock by no means will stop.

The only end to it I know,

Is when the world begins to go.

A Time for Poetry

Well, I decided to post a few pieces of poetry for you all today. I hope you enjoy them!

Capturing magical Pink Bunnies

This one was inspired from a cake I did for a family get-together. I loved the cake soooo much, and it won the literary award in our contest, so I made a shaped poem about it. I also have created the fictional magical Pink Bunnies, and plan to use them in a story or something.

Pink Hares

Play Happily

Party Hardy

Point Helpfully

Pink Bunnies Hopping

Playfully making Happy

People jump very High.

Pink bunnies making Helpful

Powerful magical Herbs.

People come Hellishly

Pointing Hungrily

Picking all the Herbs.

Pink bunnies angrily Hopping,

Pointedly marching, conjuring Hell.

People Fighting, capturing Hares.

Peanuts luring, ensnaring Hares.

Pink bunnies still fight Hell.

Powerful bunnies fighting Hell,

Poisoning the peoples Herbs,

Pushing the Humans

Out .

and now the blog scripting just got messed up. great.

Well, anyways, I might post another poem later today so I dont screw this thing upto badly, but untill then, enjoy!

In the Beginning...

Yes, well, hello.
I'm Sleepingdragon80, the writer of this blog, and explorer of my own little world. It definitly needs lots of exploring, and I hope to map out the general area of my own room soon enough, without falling into a pit of clothing and suffocating. Untill thats done, we shall be exploring my creative mind together. Sound fun? You bet.
A little about myself:
I'm 15, a girl, and I live in Nebraska. Its rather boring over here, but that allows for lots of time in the creative zone. I call that zone my backpack. It has all I need to doodle when the feeling hits me, and I sometimes have a book or two in there as well.
I hope to maybe just have a blog full of fun things that I enjoy doing, and are available for you all to enjoy. I call it the Inner Sanctum of Chaos because there is no real order in what I will post here. It could be a poem one day, and maybe a solid week of just drawings and the like. who knows? Thats the fun of it. I sometimes just write for writings sake, but usually its on a notebook or something, and I then have to type it in a long and slightly boring process that I dont always enjoy. That being said, dont trust any of my deadlines on my "books" That I am trying to write. Just accept that it will come when it comes, and you will have it available eventually.
That being said, Im working on 2 long projects at the moment. One of them is a book-length story called The Song Dragons, and another is called The Early Adventures of James and Sneis on the somethingoranother planet. I forget the whole tital, but it was a mouthful. There are many things I would love to start off with, but I think I will begin with something simple. Like a school report. Or a video. I cant decide. Dang.
Ummm..... Im gonna post a....short story. Yes. Its the first early adventure story I made, and its quite good if I do say so myself. Its called, The Early Adventures of James and Sneis on the Unknown and Dangerous Earth-Like Planet. Yes, a long name, but its fitting. I think I will name all my James and Sneis adventures like this. Let me know what you think of the story, and if all my early adventures should have huge titles! Please!
